Here are a few of the core biblical beliefs that guide our faith and practice as a congregation. We share them so you can understand what we hold to and why. Our chief desire is to glorify God in this life and to be with Him in Heaven in the life to come.
God is eternal, holy, personal, and relational. He is Creator, Sustainer, Covenant-Keeper, and Dweller among His people.
We believe in one God, who is eternal, all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present. God is the Creator of all things and the source of all life. He is holy and just, yet deeply loving and merciful.
God has always desired to dwell with His people—not distant or detached, but known, trusted, and obeyed. Throughout Scripture, God reveals Himself as faithful to His promises and active in human history. He invites us into a relationship marked by reverence, trust, obedience, and love.
God is worthy of our worship, our allegiance, and our entire lives.
(Genesis 1:1; Exodus 34:6–7; Deuteronomy 6:4; Psalm 145; Isaiah 57:15; 1 Timothy 2:5)
The Father is the source of all things and the initiator of redemption.
We believe God is revealed as Father, the source and sustainer of all that exists. The Father is the one who purposes, sends, and accomplishes His will through the Son and the Spirit.
The Father sent Jesus Christ into the world for our salvation and remains actively involved in His creation. He hears prayer, exercises righteous authority, and lovingly disciplines His children. All things ultimately exist from Him, through Him, and for Him.
The Father is not distant or passive, but sovereign, loving, and faithful—working all things according to His will and for His glory.

Jesus is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human, the center of God’s redemptive plan.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, sent by the Father to reveal God fully and to redeem humanity. Jesus lived a sinless life, taught with divine authority, performed mighty works, and embodied perfect love and obedience.
Through His death on the cross, Jesus offered Himself as a sacrifice for sin. Through His resurrection, He conquered death and opened the way to new life. Jesus now reigns as Lord and King and will one day return in glory.
Jesus is not only our Savior—He is our Teacher, our Example, and our Lord.
(John 1:1–18; Philippians 2:5–11; Colossians 1:15–20; 1 Corinthians 15:1–8)
The Spirit is God’s active presence, empowering, transforming, and indwelling believers.
We believe the Holy Spirit is the living presence of God, sent to dwell within believers. The Spirit convicts the world of sin, reveals truth, and points people to Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit strengthens, comforts, guides, and transforms God’s people, producing spiritual fruit and empowering faithful living. Through the Spirit, God shapes us into the likeness of Christ and equips the church for its mission.
The Spirit does not draw attention to Himself but glorifies Christ and leads us into obedient faith.

Salvation is God’s gracious work, received through faith expressed in obedience.
We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, made possible through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. No one earns salvation by works; it is offered by God out of love.
Salvation is received through a faithful response to the gospel—by believing in Jesus, repenting of sin, confessing Him as Lord, and being baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of sins. In baptism, we are united with Christ in His death and resurrection and raised to walk in newness of life.
Salvation is not merely rescue from sin, but restoration to a life of faithful obedience and growing transformation.

Humans are created to reflect God, live in relationship with Him, and steward His world.
We believe humanity was created in the image of God, designed to know Him, love Him, and reflect His character in the world. Every person has inherent value, dignity, and purpose because they are made by God.
Our purpose is to glorify God by trusting Him, obeying His will, loving others, and living faithfully in all areas of life. Though sin has distorted God’s design, He continues to call humanity back into relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.
True life is found not in self-rule, but in surrender to God’s good and loving purposes.

The church is a living body, called to worship, discipleship, community, and mission.
We believe the church is the body of Christ, made up of all who belong to Jesus. The church exists not as a building, but as a people called together to glorify God and participate in His mission.
The purpose of the church is to worship God, grow in faith, encourage one another, and proclaim the gospel to the world. The church is called to live as a visible witness of God’s kingdom—marked by love, unity, service, holiness, and truth.
Through the church, God continues His work of reconciliation and restoration in the world.
