The Reality of Hell

According to recent surveys most Americans do not expect to experience hell first hand. The majority of people believe that they are going to heaven. The truth is that the majority of people who believe they are going to go to heaven when they die have not prepared themselves for such a time. Sadly, most people believe the false idea that since God is love that there is no way he would send anyone to hell. The scriptures tell us something different. We must face the reality that there is an actual place called hell where there will be “weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 22:13). I could tell you that there is no such place, however, that will not turn down the heat in hell one degree.
